Baoxing BX-308 3D Printer Lubricating Oil

A 30 ml tube of fully synthetic lubricating oil for the ball bearings and linear rails that carry your printer's X and Y axes. Lead screws want grease; bearings and rails want a thin oil that penetrates the raceway and stays there. This is the oil half of that pair, and the companion to the BX-300/F lead screw grease.

Key Features

  • Formulated for ball bearings and linear bearings on X and Y axis assemblies
  • Fully synthetic base with anti-wear, anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion additives
  • Good adhesion and low volatility, so it stays in the bearing instead of migrating onto your prints
  • No carbon deposits at high temperature, and a very high flash point
  • Precision tip on a squeeze tube, so a single drop lands exactly where you want it
  • Three-year shelf life after opening when stored at room temperature

What It Fixes

Dry bearings and rails announce themselves before they fail. Rattle or a rhythmic tick as the toolhead changes direction, ghosting and ringing on vertical surfaces, uneven extrusion on fast infill, and a general rise in running noise are all symptoms of friction where there should be none. A drop of oil on a cleaned rail usually resolves all of it in a single maintenance pass.

Compatibility

Suitable for any FDM printer that runs ball bearings or linear bearings on its X and Y axes, including the Bambu Lab A1, A1 mini, P1 and X1 series, H2 series, and Snapmaker machines. It also works on CNC linear motion and any comparable precision bearing assembly.

Use oil on bearings and rails, not on lead screws. A Z-axis lead screw needs grease, which stays in the thread form under load. For that, use the BX-300/F 3D Printer Lubricant Grease. Most printers need both.

How to Apply

  1. Power off the printer and move the toolhead by hand to reach the rails.
  2. Wipe the old lubricant and dust off the rail or bearing with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol, then let it dry.
  3. Apply a small quantity of oil along the cleaned surface. A few drops per rail is enough; more will simply migrate.
  4. Move the axis through its full travel several times by hand to draw the oil into the bearing.
  5. Wipe away any excess before printing.

Why Buy from Omnimakers

Stocked in the UAE with local delivery, so a maintenance part arrives in days rather than weeks from an overseas marketplace seller. We carry the matching BX-300/F grease alongside it, and our team can tell you which lubricant belongs on which axis of your specific machine.

FAQ

Can I use this on my Z-axis lead screw?
No. Lead screws need grease so the lubricant stays in the thread under load. Use the BX-300/F grease for that job.

How often should I re-oil the rails?
For most home and small-workshop use, every few months or a few hundred print hours. Machines running long jobs continuously, or in dusty environments, benefit from more frequent attention.

How much does one tube cover?
Application is measured in drops, so a 30 ml tube covers many maintenance sessions across several printers.

Will it damage PLA or other plastics?
Keep it on the metal motion components and wipe off any excess. It is not intended for contact with printed parts or the build plate.

Is this the same as the grease you sell?
No. Same manufacturer, different product for a different job. The grease is for lead screws, this oil is for bearings and rails.
